An agency managing several clients on TikTok has four needs: tracking each client’s competitors, scheduling and publishing videos, reporting back to the client, and following the creators it works with. None of the tools in this comparison covers all four well. Our recommendation: a management tool to publish and build reports (Metricool, Agorapulse, Swello or Iconosquare), paired with a research tool to decide what to make (Creadar, Virlo or Exolyt). Here are seven tools, their November 2026 prices, and what each one does, or doesn’t do, for an agency.

What to look for in a TikTok tool for agencies

Clean separation between clients. One client’s accounts, competitors and reports shouldn’t get mixed up with another’s. Depending on the tool, this is called a brand, a group, a folder or a watchlist: check how many your plan allows.

Competitor research that tells you what to make. A competitor’s follower count or average views tells you little. To pitch an idea to a client, you need to spot the video that did much better than usual for that specific account.

Scheduling and approval. Scheduling a TikTok video in advance and getting the client’s sign-off before it goes live saves rounds of email.

A report the client actually reads. A branded PDF sent automatically every month takes less time than a batch of annotated screenshots. White label is often reserved for higher-tier plans.

Pricing that scales with your client list. Tools charge per user (Agorapulse), per brand (Metricool), per social profile (Swello, Iconosquare), per tracked creator (Creadar) or by credits (Virlo). Run the numbers with your client count and team size before comparing entry prices.

How we chose

We picked tools that publish their prices and cover at least one of these needs on TikTok: three research and analytics tools (Creadar, Virlo, Exolyt) and four social media management tools (Metricool, Agorapulse, Swello, Iconosquare). We left out ad tools and quote-only influencer platforms, which we compare in our article on creator performance tracking tools. Prices are as of November 2026. Creadar is our product: we rated it with the same criteria as the other tools, and its limits are listed in its card.

Research tools: deciding what to make for each client

Creadar

One tracking watchlist per client, outliers flagged

  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Starting price €18/month

Creadar tracks the Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts accounts you add to watchlists and flags every video whose views or engagement reach 3 times the median of the creator’s last 20 eligible videos. For an agency, the Pro plan (unlimited watchlists, 100 tracked creators) lets you keep one watchlist per client: their competitors, the accounts they draw inspiration from and the creators they work with.

Best for Agencies, studios and ghostwriters who need to pitch well-supported ideas to several clients every week, alongside their publishing tool

Strengths

  • Unlimited watchlists on the Pro plan: one watchlist per client, up to 100 tracked creators
  • An account tracked in several watchlists only counts once toward your quota, which helps when two clients share a niche
  • Automatic detection of videos that beat 3 times their creator’s median, in views or engagement
  • A dashboard and an outliers-only filter to see what outperforms without opening every profile
  • Read-only connector for Claude and ChatGPT (Creator and Pro plans): the assistant can summarize a watchlist before a client meeting
  • Interface in English and French

Limitations

  • No scheduling or publishing: pair Creadar with a tool like Metricool, Agorapulse, Swello or Iconosquare
  • One subscription is one user, with no team or client access
  • No exports and no ready-to-send client report
  • No keyword search or account discovery: only the accounts added to a watchlist are analyzed
  • Daily data collection, YouTube limited to Shorts, no scripts and no AI explanation of why a video worked
  • New product

Pricing Starter at €18/month (1 watchlist, 10 creators), Creator at €35/month (2 watchlists, 30 creators, Claude and ChatGPT connection), Pro at €95/month (unlimited watchlists, 100 creators). Billed yearly: €180, €348 and €948 a year. One-time free preview of 3 accounts, no credit card required. Public pricing, November 2026

In Creadar, an agency creates one watchlist per client with that client’s direct competitors and inspiration accounts. The Videos page, filtered to that watchlist and to TikTok, shows on a single screen which videos beat their creator’s norm.

TikTok videos from the Beauty watchlist in Creadar, above 3 times their creator’s median
“Beauty and skincare” watchlist in Creadar, TikTok videos above 3 times their creator’s median in views or engagement, since September 20, 2026.

On this watchlist of French-speaking beauty creators, a @alaiadiary video with 3.8 million views reaches 103.6x the median of the account’s last 20 videos: exactly the kind of example worth breaking down before your next client meeting.

Virlo

Content research per client, briefs and reports

  • TikTok
  • Instagram Reels
  • YouTube Shorts
  • Starting price $49/month ($34/month billed yearly)

Virlo has a dedicated agency offer: research is set up for each client (category, competitors, keywords), finds TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts videos that beat their creator’s usual results, then feeds creative briefs and client reports. Data can be exported to Excel, CSV or JSON, or pulled through the API.

Best for Agencies that want to discover content and accounts beyond their own list, client by client, and deliver trend briefs

Strengths

  • Search by category and keywords that finds accounts you weren’t tracking yet
  • 3 team seats included on the Pro plan, $10/month for each extra seat
  • Excel, CSV and JSON exports on every plan, plus a usage-based API to plug into your own tools
  • A sample client report you can view on the agency page, no form required

Limitations

  • Credit-based: a research agent run costs 100 credits and tracking one creator costs 15 credits a day, out of 12,000 credits a month on Pro
  • No refunds after the 7-day trial
  • No video scheduling or publishing

Pricing Starter at $49/month ($34/month billed yearly, 2,000 credits a month), Pro at $199/month ($139/month billed yearly, 12,000 credits, 3 team seats), Enterprise from $499/month (20,000 credits, 10 seats). 7-day trial. Public pricing, November 2026

Exolyt

TikTok analytics and social listening for the whole team

  • Starting price €250/month (€210/month billed yearly)

Exolyt is a TikTok-focused analytics and social listening platform: account, hashtag and sound tracking, influencer campaigns and social listening projects. Every plan includes 10 team members and unlimited folders, which makes it easy to keep clients apart.

Pricing Free Basic plan (1 tracked account, 1 hashtag and 1 sound), Essentials at €250/month (€210/month billed yearly), Advanced at €600/month (€500/month billed yearly), custom plans on request. Prices exclude VAT. Public pricing, November 2026

Management tools: scheduling, publishing and reporting

All four of these tools schedule TikTok videos and produce reports. They mostly differ in how they count your clients and which plan includes white label.

Strengths

  • Priced by brand: 5 brands from $20/month billed yearly

How to choose

You’re a freelancer or a small agency with a few clients and a tight budget: Swello or Metricool’s Starter plan to publish, and Creadar (Creator plan, 2 watchlists) to track your two main clients’ markets.

You have a team of community managers and clients who expect a branded monthly report: Agorapulse, which includes white label on every plan, or Iconosquare if your priority is analyzing several profiles per client (white label on the Custom plan).

You’re a short-form video studio or ghostwriter and you mostly sell ideas: Creadar Pro, with one watchlist per client, or Virlo if you need to discover accounts beyond the ones you already know.

You run TikTok influencer campaigns and market research for brands: Exolyt, if you can accept a marketing-team budget. Our in-depth Exolyt review also covers its alternatives.

You want to test before committing: the free plans from Metricool, Swello and Iconosquare, Agorapulse’s 30-day trial with no payment method, or Creadar’s free 3-account preview with no credit card.
